Rodda and Piristi Back in action at Rally SA

James Rodda/Marcus Piristi - 2010 Scouts Rally of SA

After just falling short of a first victory at the Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally, James Rodda and Marcus Piristi were back on pace at the Scouts Rally of SA, taking 2nd SARC for the weekend.

In the lead up to 25th – 27th June, the Rally Power team were busy at work, replacing the Subaru Wrx’s engine after it failed at the finish line of the Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally. With the help of MJP Automotive and S&J Automotive who built the new motor, the car was ready just in time for Rally SA, and also generating more power and torque than ever before.

The Velocity Racing team’s first SARC event of the season got off to a good start around the Angaston Super Special Stage on Friday night. Despite their times not being hugely spectacular, the drifts around the hairpin were a lot a fun, and put the team in a good mood leading into Saturday’s gravel stages.
