The South Australian Rally community has been deeply touched by the recent tragedies suffered in the Victorian bushfires. The Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS) is pledging its support to those affected by the Victorian bushfire tragedy by setting up the CAMS Bushfire Support Appeal.
On Saturday March 7, the South Australian Rally Panel Promotions Committee will host a display, including a number of rally cars, at the Gawler Place canopy in Rundle Mall, to raise funds for the bushfire victims.
The Walky Park Trophy Day Series kicks of on the 26th of April this year.

The event has grown over the past four years from one stage to a one day event last year incorporating 10 Stages. This year the event will expand to a two day event with some new stages being added, a total of 20 stages.

The Walkerville All Cars Club hosts Round 2 of the SA Rally Championship at Robertstown in the Lower North of South Australia. A challenging event for drivers and with a large variety of roads to contend with it's not surprising to see the interstate crews come over to compete and work on their pace noting skills.
The Walky Park Trophy Day Series Round 2 is on the 5th of July this year.

The fledgling Historic rally group after its inaugural and successful first event last month, is planning another Touring Road Event to co-incide with the Wirrina Clubman Rally on Saturday July11th.
Starting from the Sellicks Beach Community Hall at 6pm and finishing at Normanville, crews will tackle 170km of navigational sections at night over some of the classic Fleurieu terrain using a combination of good gravel and bitumen roads.
Navigation will be straightforward and maps used will again be the CFS Map Book with its highly detailed 1:50,000 maps.

The 2009 Wombat Rallysprint is part of the 2009 SA Clubman Series and will be held on the 12th September.

Please find the 2009 Wirrabara Forest Rally Spectator Guide attached in pdf format
The final round of the SARC will see a return to the mid north township of Wirrabara and the surrounding forests. Last used in 2003 the rally will consist of an all daylight format, starting and finishing at the Wirrabara Oval. Favourite stages like Mt Ellen and Watts Gully are in the roadbook which can be pacenoted on Saturday 3rd October. The rally will be quite compact with minimal transport distance with possibly the twistiest stages of the whole SARC.
