Day 1:

At last weekends ASP/Cut Price Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally, 19 year old Driver, James Rodda and Co-driver, Marcus Piristi started strongly and showed outright pace from the word go.

Rodda, Piristi and the Rally Power Motorsport team led the South Australian Rally Championship (SARC), for the first time, throughout the Saturday Stages based out of Victor Harbor, and had climbed inside the top ten placings in the Australian Tarmac Championship section.

Supaloc Racing have dominated the ASP Adelaide Hills Rally, with the Lamborghini of Kevin Weeks and John Allen winning the event and the Mitsubishi EVO XIII of Andrew Burnard and Brian Virgo finishing second outright.

While Weeks’s win in the powerful Lamborghini met expectations, it was Burnard’s performance in the Supaloc Suspension and Damper (Supashock)-shod Evo that really raised eyebrows. Burnard was ecstatic with the Evo’s handling.

Provisional results are now available for the asp / Cut Price Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally. The SARC component was a Subaru clean sweep, with the rally won by Simon & Tasman Orme in their Subaru WRX, followed by Russell Marker & Karien Heimsohn in their Group N WRX, and Michael & David Krichauff third in their WRX wagon.
