South Australian motorsport will receive a significant promotional boost this year with Pure Motorsport announcing a new motorsport show.

The show, to be screened on community TV station C31 Adelaide, will feature all the action from the local motorsport scene, as well as informative segments covering topics such as:

  • How to get involved in motorsport
  • Taking your need for speed off the streets
  • Interviews with characters from grassroots South Australian motorsport
  • Previewing/reviewing motorsport events around SA

The show will be produced by emerging Adelaide company Pure Motorsport, whose innovative internet coverage is receiving increasing attention worldwide. Pure Motorsport is facing higher demands for a greater variety of motorsport coverage from its fans, and this is the first stage in meeting those demands.

“Increasing our coverage of grassroots motorsport to TV was a natural progression for us. With C31 Adelaide’s impending move to digital broadcasting, we felt there was never a better time to make the transition,” says Team Principal Ryan Jones. “The show will give us another avenue to promote the excellent motorsport talent in this state who compete locally and those who take on Australia’s best.”

Local competitors can expect to receive significant exposure from the show which will air weekly on C31 Adelaide. In addition, the show will be available for on-demand viewing on Pure Motorsport’s online channel, www.puremotorsport.tv, after each episode airs. Downloads in high definition will also be available via legalised torrents.

Casting will commence shortly for the show, with production slated to begin late January 2010. The first episodes should screen in March.
